“It all started with opera…”

Verismomag started with an opera outreach platform called Opera Talks. Opera Talks programming was created to help the library and continuing education industry provide accessible opera talks through individual titles, themes and icons. As an extension of Opera Talks, Verismo Magazine became an Instagram page inspired by making opera relevant through history, fashion and current events. Subsequently during the Global Pandemic, the company pivoted to creating a podcast and a magazine for the arts. In 2022, Verismo Magazine became Verismomag Media to encompass many unique platforms that amplify the arts.

We are proud to introduce Arts Brève (AB), the dedicated cultural connector founded by Tanisha Mitchell, inspired by her personal journey through libraries and Lincoln Center. The platform's mission is to ensure library patrons from all communities receive the highest quality arts experience through expertly curated content, programming suggestions, and collection development tips. AB brings the world of the arts directly to libraries, helping them elevate programming and serve every patron with flair and quality.
